Two kinds of KinahBound Kinah pays for your own progression, unbound Kinah buys on the market. The game spends bound first.
Steady incomeExpeditions and Transcendence on Odyle Energy. Conquest expeditions pay unbound Kinah.
Valuable findsArtworks, wings, rare gear and manastones. Check the market price before selling to a vendor.
No capOpen-world monsters give at most 1 million Kinah a day; the Abyss has no such cap.
AltsEach character has its own energy. 3–4 characters is the sweet spot; beyond that rewards start to drop.

Bound and unbound Kinah

So when you look at a reward, check not only the amount but the type. Three million unbound Kinah are worth more than three million bound.

Dungeons: the main income

Expeditions and Transcendence — the main source of Kinah and materials
Expeditions and Transcendence — the main source of Kinah and materials

The main steady income is expeditions and Transcendence. At the end of a run you spend Odyle Energy to open the reward cube: Kinah, gear, materials. With membership you can open the cube twice for double the energy.

How to get more

  • Kill every boss in the dungeon: the reward cube gets bigger
  • As soon as you can handle Conquest, switch to it — it pays unbound Kinah
  • Do not sit at the energy cap: anything above it is wasted
  • Pick up Odyle at the end of a run — it is used in almost every recipe
  • Transcendence trials — three entries a week per character, do not forget them
  • Sanctuary raids once a week give lots of Kinah and materials

Dungeons rarely drop a tradable version of an item from their loot table. Such items sell for a lot — do not rush to equip or salvage them.

Open world and the Abyss

WhereIncomeLimit
Open worldKinah from monsters, crafting materials, gear to sellUp to 1 million Kinah a day from monsters per character
AbyssMore Kinah from monsters, materials, manastones and soulstones, Abyss PointsNo Kinah cap, but Abyss time is limited and enemies are around

In the first weeks basic materials — leather, smelting stones, spirit stones — sell surprisingly high: everyone needs them and nobody has stock yet. Plain monster farming at launch can pay more than it seems, and you level your pets on the way, which gives bonuses to the whole account.

When you hit the capThe 1 million cap is per character. When monsters stop dropping Kinah, switch to an alt or go to the Abyss, preferably in a group.

Bosses and rare loot

Field bosses are a lottery with a big prize. They give little Kinah directly, but they drop Pantheon artworks, unique gear and materials. A rare artwork can be worth tens of millions of Kinah.

Other luck-based sources:

  • Hidden cubes — open them with keys: the reward almost doubles. Inside are manastones and soulstones, stigma shards, skins and wings.
  • Shugo minigames — every hour. You can put all keys on one card (risky) or spread them across all cards (safer).
  • Battlefield — wins give Asphel fragments, which craft PvP board tiles to sell. Gear does not matter there, so an alt works too.

The market and crafting

The market: check the price of any unfamiliar loot
The market: check the price of any unfamiliar loot

The most common way to lose Kinah is to sell an item to a vendor when it is worth a hundred times more on the market.

The five-second rule

  1. Found something unfamiliarDo not sell it to a vendor right away.
  2. Check the marketHow much it costs and how many are listed.
  3. DecideSell, keep, or hold until the price rises.

What usually sells well:

  • artworks — especially from old dungeons few people still run;
  • dungeon wings: players break them down into enchantment stones;
  • manastones and soulstones: alchemy turns lesser ones into intermediate ones, sometimes superior;
  • PvP manastones: bought for Abyss Points and upgraded with alchemy;
  • items for supply requests — requests change every week, and yesterday's junk can spike tomorrow;
  • consumables: stamina and accuracy food, flight potions — they sell out at launch.

Do the maths before crafting

Crafting only makes money if you count everything. Add up material prices, the market fee and tax, and compare with the price of the finished item. Often selling the materials pays better than crafting. The exception is bound materials you cannot sell anyway: crafting with them is almost always worth it.

Crafting can failHigh-level gear crafts sometimes fail and the materials are lost. If you do not want the risk, sell the materials to someone who does.

Alts: how many you need

Each character has its own Odyle Energy and weekly limits. That makes alts the most stable Kinah source in the long run.

A plan with alts

  1. Main to 45Level your main first and do its daily routine.
  2. Alts to Krao CaveTake 2–3 alts to Krao Cave (about level 22). From then on they bank energy.
  3. Weekly purchasesOn every character buy the weekly energy from the vendor and craft energy stones — if the materials cost less than the energy.
  4. Move it to your mainMove unbound Kinah, materials and stones through shared storage.

According to calculations by players of the Korean version, rewards start dropping after about 84 runs a week across all characters on the server. Without membership that is about 6 characters, with membership about 4–5. More is pointless.

  1. Selling everything to vendorsCheck the market first.
  2. Crafting without the mathsMaterials often cost more than the result.
  3. Banking energy at the capEverything above it is wasted.
  4. Buying Kinah from third-party sellersBan risk — see Auto combat and bots.
  5. Salvaging gear right awaySupply requests and other players may want it.

The bottom line

The main income is expeditions and Transcendence on Odyle Energy, with unbound Kinah from Conquest. The open world caps Kinah at 1 million a day, the Abyss does not. Rare loot — artworks, wings, manastones — beats any farm if you check the market first. Alts parked at Krao Cave bank energy, and 3–4 characters are enough to stay below the reward drop-off.
