Does AION 2 have auto combat?

No. Global, like the Korean PC version, has no auto hunting: your character does not run around the map and kill monsters on its own. Combat is manual — you move, dodge and pick targets. Global has no mobile version with automatic combat.
When people say "auto combat", they usually mean the built-in skill macro. It makes the rotation much easier, but it does not play for you: dodging, leaving danger zones and timing big skills is still your job.
What the game automates by itself
| Feature | What it does | Where to find it |
|---|---|---|
| Skill macro | Casts a chain of skills by priority while you hold a key | Macro settings — details in Skill macros |
| Skill queue | Queues the next skill while the current one plays | Combat settings |
| Quest auto-move | Walks you to the quest target and, with the right setting, interacts with it | Quest tracker, its own key |
| Auto sprint and flight | Sprints and flies to the target, including Odyle in the air | Combat settings, auto-move section |
| Auto potions | Drinks a potion when HP falls below a threshold | Combat settings, auto-use section. Threshold 60–70% |
| Auto scrolls | Uses buff scrolls | Same place. Set "in combat only", or you run out fast |
| Auto target | Picks the nearest target when you use a skill | Combat settings |
All of this is part of the game, so using it is never punished.
Third-party macros and programs
External mouse and keyboard macros (through your mouse vendor's software), clickers and programs that press keys for you are a grey area. There is no explicit permission, and the built-in macro does almost the same. Do not risk your account for a couple of percent of damage.
Bots in AION 2 and how they are fought

The Korean and Taiwanese versions had many bots. The main schemes:
- Kinah farming on many accounts and selling it for real money;
- moving Kinah through the market: the buyer lists an ordinary item at an absurd price and the bots buy it;
- collecting feathers with teleport hacks and selling the rewards to vendors.
For Global NCSoft added measures aimed exactly at these schemes:
Botters usually keep separate accounts that only sell Kinah and spend nothing. A normal player behaves differently: moves Kinah between their own characters through storage and buys what they need.
How not to get caught in the crossfire
Worth doing
- Use the built-in macro and auto-use
- Move Kinah between your characters through storage
- Buy and sell on the market at market prices
- Report bots in game
Better not
- Buy Kinah from third-party sellers
- Install clickers and programs that play for you
- Buy items at an obviously inflated price because someone asked
- Hand your account to "power-levelers"
- Thinking the built-in macro is a cheatIt is part of the game and everyone uses it.
- Buying "cheap" KinahBot money is tracked. Buyers usually get banned too.
- Assuming Global will be as botted as KoreaThe main loopholes of the Korean version are closed in Global.
The bottom line
AION 2 has no full auto combat: fighting is manual, and the game only takes over routine — the skill macro, auto-move, potions and scrolls. Everything built in is allowed. Third-party programs and buying Kinah risk a ban. In Global bots are fought with market trust, disabled direct trades and a priority queue for honest players.
